Mr. Manning is CEO of Equisales and was formerly the
General Manager for GE Aero Energy Global. GE Aero is a $3
billion business focused on the manufacture and the service
of aero derivative gas turbines used in power generation
for industrial, marine and utility applications. The
Company’s product lines range from 20 to 100MW. GE Aero
Energy operates globally and is headquartered in Houston, Texas.
As General Manager, Mr. Manning was responsible for GE Aero
Energy sales for both services and products worldwide.
Mr. Manning began his career at Stewart & Stevenson
in 1979, holding positions in Purchasing, Contract
Administration and Gas Turbine Sales. In 1989, he was
appointed Director, International Sales for the Gas Turbine
Division of Stewart & Stevenson International and in
1992 was named VP, International Sales, Stewart &
Stevenson International. In 1996, Mr. Manning was appointed
Corporate Vice President of Stewart & Stevenson
Services, Inc., where he was responsible for international
sales for all Stewart & Stevenson products and
services. In February 1998, GE Power Systems (now GE
Energy) acquired the Gas Turbine Division of Stewart &
Stevenson Services, Inc. and Mr. Manning was named Global
Sales Leader – GE Aero Energy.
Mr. Manning received his BBA degree in Finance from the
University of Texas in 1978.
